Senior Product Designer



Job Description

The role you'll play:


The Senior Product Designer at Consumer Edge will play a significant role in the product

organization that is part of a rapidly growing business. Reporting to the VP of Product Management,

the right candidate will have an eye for functional design and possess technical skills to synthesize

high-level concepts and ideas into concrete high-fidelity designs. We are looking for an individual

who is passionate, creative, and enthusiastic, with an ability to fluidly adapt to new design challenges

and problem solve in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.


Your main responsibilities:


● Champion and cultivate a culture of user-centered design through every touchpoint in the

customer journey.

● Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams in identifying features and capabilities

(general and domain-specific) to drive better UX

● Play a leading role in consumer interactions in order to understand, in firsthand, their needs

and formulate his own opinions and approaches that can improve their experiences with the

product

● Incorporate customer feedback to constantly amend and communicate the design vision in

order to deliver the next paradigm in customer experience

● Define full user experiences through information architecture diagrams, wireframes, user

flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes

● Partner with design researchers to concept and test experiences

● Actively participate in group critiques by both providing and receiving thoughtful, constructive

feedback

● Challenge “we’ve always done it this way” thinking

● Maintain, guide, and push the boundaries of our design system

● Help foster a culture of creativity throughout the company


We’re looking for someone with:


● 5+ years of experience as a product designer in web and mobile environments

● Strong portfolio presenting at least 2 case studies with clear indications of your specific

contributions. Only submissions with portfolios will be considered.

● Bachelor’s Degree in human-computer interactions, communication design, visual arts,

information science or related field

● Proficiency in Figma

● Experience as a systems thinker, considering user mental models and cross-platform

designs.

● Experience balancing user needs with technical constraints and business considerations.

● Ability to think at a high level about product strategy

● Ability to balance data with customer insights to inform design decisions.

● Experience working with design systems

● Experience working with Jira

● Excellent communication and presentation skills

● Dedication to continuing education
